Who it can help: Anyone who is finding aspects of their emotional life difficult to deal with or challenging to overcome and problematic for their general well-being, relationships, and productivity. These challenges may include depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, isolation, guilt, interpersonal conflict, relationship concerns, and any other difficulty of living.
How can it help: The counsellor will provide a confidential, empathetic, and reflective space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and gain deeper insight into what may be causing them. From there, they will use a range of therapeutic interventions (for example, CBT), to help you gain tools and skills to manage and overcome your challenges, thus improving your mental and emotional well-being.

Perinatal/Womens Health Counselling

What it is: A safe space for you to navigate the myriad of complex thoughts, feelings, and physical and hormonal changes that occur during the transition to motherhood and beyond.
Who it can help: Women from pre-conception through to pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. Challenges may include infertility, perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, trauma, high-risk pregnancy, birth trauma, difficulty adjusting to motherhood, difficulty bonding with baby, guilt, animosity, relationship difficulties since welcoming a baby, and identity in motherhood. Additionally, women dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, sexual pain, or various relational and hormonal issues will also benefit.
How it can help: Your specialised counsellor provides empathy, insight, and psychoeducation to help you understand why you’re feeling the way you are, and that you are not alone. Additionally, they will use therapeutic interventions (for example, CBT), to equip you with the tools and skills to manage the challenges you face during this period of life, and therefore increase your mental and emotional wellbeing.
