Meet Amy our Holgate Acupuncture Practitioner.

Amy Forth is a Chinese Medicine practitioner, researcher and educator with a special interest in IVF support, fertility, women’s health and pregnancy care.

Amy has been in practice as Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner since 2008 Amy is known for warm, knowledgeable, and evidence-based approach to care. Amy is committed to the development of integrative models of health care and prides herself on leading an integrative acupuncture clinic that offers evidence and research-based IVF, fertility, and pregnancy care.

Amy is the Director of The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic Alexandria and Managing Director of The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic group – a network of 6 Clinics dedicated to women’s health, reproductive, pregnancy, and post-partum care.

Amy has presented widely on acupuncture and integrative practices in hospitals, IVF clinics and at conferences and universities. Amy’s research includes a Master of Global health that focused on the Integrative Medical (IM) practices of GPs and a NICM Health Institute-led project that investigated the IM practice and education needs of Australian GPs and several clinical trials investigating the use of Acupuncture for IVF, PCOS, and Endometriosis.

Amy currently divides her time between her two practices at The Acupuncture Pregnancy in Holgate on the Central Coast and Alexandria, Sydney. In her spare time, she may be found at the beach doing an ocean swim or chatting away over a cup of tea
