Laura has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science followed by a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University. Her physiotherapy thesis was written on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a complex connective tissue disorder.  From her research Laura has gained knowledge and skills on how to treat and manage EDS and how to improve the overall quality of life of those women who possess it.

Laura has worked with the Central Coast Mariners Women’s Academy and was the sole physiotherapist responsible for injury prevention, load monitoring, rehabilitation and encouraging a more concentrated approach towards women’s health in sport.

Laura has enjoyed valuable years’ experience in sport and exercise physiotherapy before following her passion for Women’s Health. This knowledge allows her to prescribe exercise and create programs tailored for pregnancy and postnatal rehabilitation. Laura’s training in both sport and Women’s Health has developed a wide range of skills assessing and treating pelvic and musculoskeletal conditions. She has completed additional training in Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) and is very interested in helping women achieve full function following birth.

In her down time Laura is an avid runner, cyclist and enjoys weightlifting. She loves spending time outdoors, including bushwalking and looking after her chickens.
